SliceSheet

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 27, 2026

1. The service

SliceSheet is an online service that lets you share only selected parts of a spreadsheet (Excel or CSV), hiding chosen columns and rows. The service is operated by 16bit Srl ("we", "us") and is available at slicesheet.com.

By using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. Access without an account

The service requires no sign-up. Each sheet is protected by two secret links: a management link, granting full control over the sheet, and a recipient link, which shows only the visible slice.

Anyone holding a link can access the corresponding features. You are responsible for keeping the links safe and sharing them only with the intended people. We cannot recover a lost management link.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to upload only data that you own or are otherwise entitled to process and share. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for how you share it.

You may not use the service to upload or distribute unlawful content, content that infringes the rights of others, or personal data you are not authorised to process, nor for any activity that compromises the security or operation of the service.

4. Retention and deletion of links

We keep a link while it stays active. A link is deleted automatically, together with all related files and versions, when either of the following happens:

• it is not opened by the recipient (client-side access) for more than 90 days;

• it receives no updates, manual or automatic, and no access from whoever manages it, for more than 90 days.

Deletion is permanent and no prior notice is given, as the service has no account to notify. Opening the management panel, updating the sheet, or a recipient visit moves the deadline forward.

5. Service availability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of continuity, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, suspend or discontinue it, in whole or in part, without notice.

Always keep an original copy of the files you upload: SliceSheet is a sharing tool, not a storage or backup system.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, 16bit Srl is not liable for any damage arising from the use or non-operation of the service, loss of data, disclosure of a link, or content uploaded by users.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. The current version is always published on this page, with the last-updated date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the court of the place where 16bit Srl has its registered office, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
